"It is your reaction to adversity, not the adversity itself, that determines how your life's journey will develop."
Ok so in the last post I talked about our home depot run over the weekend! Well it was to refinish the table in our kitchen, and also get the yard ready for Addison's blessing this sunday. So below are lovely photos of me painting my kitchen table, along with the finished product..... That was the first big project out of the way!! Although the larger project for the weekend was our yard. Let me just tell you we worked our butts off. When I say we I mainly mean chris and his mom. I did yard work the first day, and might I say I was proud of what I did :) I'm not usually one for yard work, but it was really fun to plant my own flowers. Like I was saying chris and his mom did most of the work. I am so grateful for chris and I's families. I'm sure you hear me say that alot, but it really is true! Chris's dad, mom, sister, and her fiance all came to help chris and I, so that we could get done what we wanted to do. I mean it was their memorial day too, but instead they were helping us!! As for Chris you truly are such a hard worker, and you made our yard look beautiful! Thank you babe for all the hard work, I just love our little home. There is nothing like adding your own touches to your house to make it your own. Chris and I did alot of that this weekend. So now that you have heard of all the hard work, I have posted the finished product below.....
