"17 Week Ultrasound"

This ultrasoundsound was so exciting!! The little man looks awesome, and he is on TARGET! I don't want to ever get to excited, but I have to say it feels good to hear good stuff for once. There was a blood test they did on me to test my placenta about a week ago. It was to see if the placenta was having any problems yet. Well...... it came back negative they said they saw no signs of insufficiencies at this point. I was really excited to hear that, now granted this doesn't mean this pregnancy will go perfect, I'm just looking for better though :) Anyways I put the cutest little profile of the little man on this post, and I promised you all a belly pic for 17 weeks. So look below to see the belly pic of this little peanut. I wont lie I think my belly is already pretty big, but again I don't want to get my hopes up :) Well enjoy.......

"It's A Boy"

I have been way behind on blogging. So I'm posting the most important things that have happened in the last month. Well It's a boy!! Chris and I are so excited, we feel really lucky to be following the pattern of boy, girl, boy. I think Devin will be so excited to have a little brother to rough house with. Don't kid yourselves though, I think our little Addison will hold her own with these two boys, she is a little firecracker. Well I actually have an ultrasound this thursday, it's the first growth scan on the baby. We are just praying that all the heparin shots are working and he is right on target. So stay tuned for a post on that. I also will be posting my first belly picture with this little man on thursday. Until then look for any new posts in between.

"Addison's Big 1year Party"

I just cannot even believe that my little princess turned 1 year old on Feb 24th. I feel like it was only yesterday that I was waiting anxiously to deliver her. I will say she was a little pistol to get here, and fought every step of they way. I am so proud of what a beautiful little girl she has already become. She is so full of life and is more energetic than I could imagine. She cruises furniture like you wouldn't believe, stands on her own, and crawls like a wild woman everywhere Devin goes. She we will be walking I predict within a month. She is right where she should be for her age being that she was 2 months early. She is now 28 inches long and drum roll please, a whopping 15lbs 12oz LOL!!! She is the definition of petite :) Anyhow we had a party the 26th for her that was awesome. so enjoy the pics below.

"Chris Turned 30"

So Chris really wanted to keep his 30th birthday low key, but I had other plans in mind :). So I decided to throw him a suprise party. We had it at the Rock Creek Pizza in Sandy. I had the back room rented out and all of our family came to support the cause. It turned out awesome he was so suprised. How I found time to pull off a suprise party I'm not sure, but I'm glad I did. Devin and Addi had so much fun helping daddy open presents and blow out candles :)

"11 weeks Already"

So I found this image of what a fetus looks like at 11 weeks. This is my third pregnancy, and yet it still never ceases to amaze me!! I actually am only a few days away from being 12 weeks already. I just wanted to post the week I am still currently in. So far so good with everything. I don't know if you all saw my earlier post, but I am doing heparin injections to myself now twice a day. I can't lie they really arent very pleasant, but hey whatever means getting a bigger full term baby right?! Chris and I are getting excited, but boy are our lives going to change drastically. So far I truly did not get sick this time, which is awesome. I feel great actually, and have to be honest I am leaning towards this being a boy! I feel alot more like Idid when I was prego with Devin. So being that I have had a boy and girl, certain symptoms are all I have to go off of. I could totally be wrong though and they tell me that I am getting another girl :) truly I am lucky to get one of each, so we really don't mind what this one is. I just want more than anything a healthy better pregnancy. With all they are doing with me this time I really feel that it is promising. I don't want to count my eggs before they are hatched, but I really think that this time is going to be different. I know that the lord has blessed us with this new bundle for a reason. I just need to sit back and put my trust in him. The last time I did that he gave me my beautiful little girl safe and sound :) Prayer works, and I know that he heard me when I prayed in the hospital every night to keep buying addison time. He did exactly that and did not let her struggle at all. I am grateful to be pregnant again, and be able to experience all that comes with it, even if mine are a little bumpy. I will soon start posting belly pics, but I don't quite have enough of a belly yet. So look for the first one in a few weeks, until then good night all.

"Our New Years"

Every year for the past 3 new years now chris and I go to dinner together. Westarted it when I was pregnant with Devin. We wanted to do our own thing because we knew the day were coming where we would have babies every new year :). Which don't get me wrong was just fine, but we still like our alone time too. So we left the kids with chris's parents this year and went to dinner at Iggy's, I had really been craving their bread and dip mmmm. Then we went and just hung together did a little shopping etc..... and went back to spend some time with family for the new year. I know were boring but we don't care, I have loved having the tradition of spending time together alone. Holidays are for family time, atleast that is always how it's worked with chris and I. So there is no place or people I would rather be with than my family. Well all to a happy new year, and enjoy the pics below......

"Duncan Christmas"

It was so awesome this year at the Duncan house for christmas!! We had double the fun this year with our two little munchkins. We got some really cute photos of christmas morning. Oh and don't worry our kids got 3 full christmas's each. Chris and I of course spoiled them, then it's off to my parents to be spoiled again, and last but not least the other grandparents to finish off the day of spoiling. I'm not kidding our kids had to of gotten 30-40+ things each. I'm talking brand new wardrobes for both of them literally, toys toys toys, dancing mickey the biggest craze right now, and some more clothes toys and toys again. It was awesome!! Chris and I didn't make out so bad ourselves either :) Well I think I summed up how great and giving our families are, but now let me show you in pictures!!! ENJOY.................

"Bring on the Shot"

So I got word today from the team of specialists that Chris and I now have for baby #3. I had to do some blood tests last week at my first appointment. They were testing for certain antibodies in my blood that may be a contributor to what causes growth restriction in my babies. It also is a contributor to placental insuffieciency, which is why may babies are small. So with knowing all of that, my test came back as moderate positives. Anytime you even have a slight positive in this case they see it as an objective, and they will treat it immediately. Well the only way to treat this and hopefully prevent a small baby this time is taking heparin shots. It is a low weight blood thinner that I have to inject into my stomach twice a day for basically the whole pregnancy. i'm not excited about it, but I am grateful that they may have found a breakthrough that will give me a shot at a normal pregnancy this time. So here's to getting shots twice a day everyday woo hoo............ wish me luck!!

"Diaper Disaster Twice"

So my poor little devin has a double ear infection :( I took him to the doctor on thursday. The doctor told me that his right ear was so full of fluids he couldn't even see inside it. In other words that meant he had a mean ear infection. The left ear was conjested, but it wasn't near as bad. Anyhow they of course put him on antibiotics and ear drops, but anibiotics can cause diarreah bad in babies or toddlers. Well with that being said my little man has been having some pretty outrageous blowouts the past two mornings. Thank goodness it was the weekend and I had Chris's help, because it was nasty. I went to go into his room both mornings and I just saw poop all over his sheets, hands, face, on stuffed animals Yikes!! I immediately called for chris to come in and help. It was so bad we had to wipe him down so much before we could even remove his pajamas. Once we got all of that done it was straight to the bathtub! There was no messing around with this disaster. I'm just hoping this isn't an every morning thing while he is taking the antibiotic, cuz I can't do it by myself in the morning. This was definitely a two man job. Thanks daddy for coming to the rescue, and doing all the cleanup :)

Salad @ 9:00am

Well I guess I am biting my tongue now by saying that I haven't been to sick! Not so true :)although I will say it is alot more managable than my last pregnancy. That tells me this little bean could be a boy. For me I was way more sick with Addison than with Devin. So I'm kind of going off that for now, but who really knows. Anyhow I titled this post post salad at 9:00am, because I really ate salad this morning at 9:00am. Your body gets so messed up in the first stages of pregnancy. I mean seriously for as queezy as you feel who wants a cold salad at 9 in the morning. As long as I'm not throwing up and can still be active, then I will take what I have going on. I guess we can chalk this up to the first weird craving so far :) Oh and it's not just any salad, it's Rock Creeks Pizza's salad bar. So until next time I hope you all are enjoying the blog......
