"Sushi for santa night"

This was what we call "Sushi for Santa" it was a charity event that was held at the Well's Fargo building downtown. This is held every year by Chris's cousins company it's really a great idea. I had no idea how much people really like sushi geeeezzz. Being pregnant and all I could only have veggie rolls or avacado rolls mmmm they were yummy though. I'm not sure I would want raw fish anyways even if I wasn't pregnant :). So here is me enjoying some sushi in front of the window over looking downtown Salt Lake. Chris and I were told that we could bring a guest so we invited my sister and her boyfriend Chris as well ( good name). So although Chris isn't a huge fan of sushi accept for some Dave and Carlye made us try this summer at Typhoon. It was delicious I mean I have never had sushi like that before. So of all the other weird things he eats he decided to chow down on some veggie and avacado rolls with me. He did try some of the raw tuna though YUCK he seemed to be enjoying it :) doesn't he look handsom too...... Needles to say although the sushi was very good we hit up some Mcdonald's afterwards LOL!! I mean baby wasn't feeling all the soy sauce and sea weed :). So I had to get myself a chocolate shake and some fries mmmm those are the best fries! We had a fun night though, this week has been so busy if you can't tell by my blog being filled every single day! Well until next time enjoy the other pics to the left from sushi night!! :)

"My belly at 19 weeks"

I don't think I have ever seen a belly like this on me EVER!! This one is a fun one though, I was just on my way out to my work christmas dinner. I had Chris take an updated pick of me so that everyone could really see what my belly looks like now :)

"There are no words :)"

So really I think to myself sometimes that I'm not going to have one child but two!! All I have to say to this is I'm glad I have my silly hubby to keep me smiling and laughing everyday... thanks babe for the good laugh! I know duke tried to show you up by sitting all stern and pretty haha! Everyone enjoy this one....

"My Girls night out"

So I already know what you are thinking "who has a girls night at the craft store"? Only me and my friends know how to make the craft store fun that's for sure. So I will explain a little without being detailed so the hubby doesn't know when he reads this. My girlfriends and I went to the craft store to finish up a christmas gift for Chris. I'm not the most crafty person you could say so I had to bring the craft masters along to help me out. I might as well just tell Chris they made the gift for me :) I did it though babe they were just the brains behind it (thanks girls). So needless to say all though we had a purpose there craft stores can tend to get a little boring. After about a half hour had past we decided to have a photo shoot (so much fun). THe girls and I always have a good time when we get together I'm sure glad to have them. Just for those of you that may not know the clan I will introduce. We have got first Carlye the one with the hair up peaking through the jungle (love the goofy face). Then we have Jilliane totally dug the pink camo hat, then again I'm a hat freak. Leave it jilliane though to find the sparkly stuff in the craft store lol. Then we have Skye and her cute daughter Austin. Austin probably thinks we are all nuts when we get together. So in this picture since I'm the pregnant lady I needed a fanning notice how Skye decided to go the more seductive way haha, she's on the right!!

Which would bring me to the ending of the main photo shoot I decided I wanted them all in a jungle shot. I about peed my pants when I saw them all do the action shot peeking around :) I have to say my friends take fantastic pictures (nice photo shoot girls) Thanks for the help!

Afterwards we were so exhausted from modeling :) we decided to get some ice cream at the Marble Slab. Truthfully not much to say about this stop just check out the pictures they speak for themselves lol! We really enjoyed the ice cream.

" How we spent our snow day "

Well I would start by saying this was probably one of the laziest days Chris and I have had in a while. Duke too he is always lazy though :) I thought that it was supposed to be some huge snow storm, but instead the heavy snow started at 11:00am and ended by 1:00pm, at least out hear in Riverton. So instead of cleaning or being productive we decided to not get out of our pajamas all day and nap with Dukey. These pictures were so cute I couldn't resist, Duke and Chris are best buds!! I'm afraid once my little man gets here I'm going to be out numbered by 3 boys now instead of 2 :) Enjoy the pics!!

" To my baby boy"

I do not see his sweet face yet or know his smile, but I know that he is mine. I often ponder why I was chosen to be this sweet babies mom and smile at the idea that maybe he chose me himself. I have never felt so much love for someone that isn't even here yet, it is unlike anything I have ever known. He is a special little boy for me to love unconditionally , watch him succeed and see how much he has grown. I can not ask for a greater gift but to be a mom and do the best that I can. I do not know what the future will hold, but there is one thing I know. I want to give the best to my little man. So to my sweet baby boy I can only tell you this that you are my precious baby that I promise to love and take care of, because after all you are a special gift given to us from up above.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Reflections

I thought that it would be fun to reflect on my 4th month of pregnancy so you can all keep following in this journey!!!

What I least expected with this pregnancy was: To even be having a pregnancy!! That may sound crazy but for those of you that may not know Chris and I we weren't even trying on birth control in fact!! It was just truly a gift and on someone elses clock if you know what I mean :)
The best bit of advice I've received is: To not drink to much before bed otherwise you will be up in the bathroom all night LOL!! Okay well I've learned a few more significant things. The main one is to not try to know everything about everything that is going to happen, because you will set yourself up for failure.
What has changed the most in my life with this pregnancy is: My relationship with Chris it has just grown so strong it is unbeleiveable what a creation of a new life can do to you as a couple. All I can say is there is nothing like it and sharing those experiences together.
What made me realize that I was really pregnant was: The very first time we had an ultrasound at 8 weeks. The Dr. told us to look very closely and asked if we could see anything fluttering? When we looked I teared up it was our little baby's heart beating over 150 times per minute AMAZING that is when I realized.
This month's ultrasound was: Amazing we went for our 19 week unltrasound to see if it was a boy or girl!! Well if you haven't heard it's a BOY!!!!! we got to see his heart beating, his little feet and hands forming. The best part is that they said he is 100% perfect which is all I wanted to hear. So needless to say this months ultrasound was all I was hoping it would be.
At my prenatal visit this month I discovered that: My sweet baby has a heartbeat that is so strong and healthy! It truly is amazing to hear it is really beginning to feel real.
My hopes: My hopes are for my baby mainly to be healthy and come into this world to their loving family and be able to grow, live normal, and experience life it's a crazy ride but a beautiful one.
My fears: My fears are unexplainable yet I don't like to live with fears just hopes....

"My outing with law firm friends"

So tonight I got to go to the Olive Garden with my fun law firm friends. I haven't worked with my law firm for a while now but I see my friends from there at least once a month for a dinner outing. I feel so lucky to have all of the freinds and family that I do around the holidays to enjoy time with and make memories with. I would say the highlight of the night was to be able to show off my baby boys ultrasound pictures. I'm already a proud mommy!! I will tell you a little about my friends in the pictures. You have Lori, love her she was my Litigation Manager you could not ask for a better manager she is young fun and good to work with. Oh boy then you have Angie :) she is like having a big sister at work that is to blunt haha you gotta love her honestly though, I miss her sassy remarks everyday over the cubicle. Kayley what can I say we always had good laughs and I think I always cheered her up :) I think. Sweet Courtney she is so nice and yet has her wild side she is a fun one and would do anything for anybody! Last but not least Shaz well that is what us girls call him anyways he was the mean big brother that loved to tease me although I could dish it back pretty good, you gotta love shaz out with us on girls night I guess we considered him one of the girls. Like the waitress said to him last night "You are going to have alot of fun"! Hahaha I hope it was shaz, well now that I have summed up all my law firm friends you will know who they are now! Until tonight when I have my new family adventure to post see ya later :)......!

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!

So today was the big day we found out if baby Duncan was a boy or girl!! Well if you haven't heard the news yet it's a BOY.......... We are so excited the Doctor told us that he is 100% healthy and everything looks great. I cannot beleive that it is feeling completely real now, he weighs in at 1/2 a pound. He started as a small raspberry size when I found out that I was pregnant at 5 weeks it is amazing to see how much he has grown and how much more he will. I haven't even met him yet and love him more than anything and would already do anything for him. Chris is so fun to watch get excited and be so amazed by this whole process, he is so attentive and really wants to be involved with what is going on with me and my body! I can't wait to show him off on here I will get the pictures posted within the next couple of days so go ahead and check back you wont want to miss this.
