"Addison 2 Year Photo Shoot"

Okay okay I wouldn't really call it a photo shoot, considering I took the photos. Let's be honest I know I'm no photographer! I do have to say though I didn't do to bad. I'm going with a "Fairy Princess" theme this year for her 2nd birthday. I'm doing a princess and knights theme. I wanted a gender nuetral party. Addison tends to have alot of friends that are BOYS. Hmmm this better not become a pattern :) Anyways take a look below at the photos I got.......

"Devin's Having Surgery"

I can't believe my little dude has to have surgery. I am so so scared for this and just pray that everything runs smoothly. Devin goes in the morning of November 9th to be prepped for surgery. Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts! I appreciate all of my family, friends, and my ward that have already offered a helping hand in advance :) thank you!!

"Me And My Little Girl"

I loved this picture of Addi and I the day before halloween at Granny and grandpa's house!! All of my kids were farm animals this year hence the name "Duncan Baby Farm" on my blog :) I figured it was fitting considering we have 3 kids under 3. So my little Addison was the cow! This costume is size 9-12 month, she is just our little petite girl! Back when she was in the NICU they used to call her a little pixy because she was just so danty and tiny, not much has changed. I am just so grateful to have a little girl to call my daughter! She is so full of life and is just hilarious. Addi has such a presence about her that just lights up a room, especially her extra cheesy grin :) She makes me want to be the best woman I can be. I want to be the best example to her as a duaghter, wife, mother, and sister!! She inspires me to work hard at obtaining all of these qualities that she already exudes! Sometimes I wonder who really is the example to who. I learn far more from my beautiful daughter sometimes then I feel she learns from me. Thank you Addison for being my precious daughter and always putting a smile on my face. You are my best girl and I will love you forever and always!! Love Mommy

"Weight Loss Count Down"

So here I am once again trying to lose pounds after a baby!! Well this time folks it is my THIRD and LAST!! You all heard me right the Duncan's are done having babies :) So with that being said I can really focus on getting myself back in shape, but not just back in shape, in the best shape I can be in!! Now that I am done having kids I can get myself where I want and try to keep it there knowing I don't ever have to be pregnant again aaaahhhhh! I can breath a sigh of relief. Being 28, having three kids, and being done is a good feeling. So with all that being said I am on a weight loss count down.

I can't believe I am going to reveal my weight to you all, but it's a tradition I have revealed after each pregnancy!! So whatever I will just tell you my weight now, and then my target goal. So I am now 125lbs. I was 117 before I got pregnant with Dayton soooooo I am hoping to lose just a couple more pounds below the 117 mark. I would like to be 115lbs. I know that may sound steep to some of you, but I have always been around that weight until I started having babies. I am only barely 5'4" so that weight looks fine on me. I just need to work my butt off to roughly lose 10 pounds. Any suggestions of good weight loss programs would be much appreciated :).........

"I Think So"

I had to post about the funniest thing Devin said to me!! So the other night driving home I was saying to him "mommy loves you". Then he was saying back "love you too". So after a minute or two of silence I asked him "Do you love mommy"? His reply was "I think so"! Oh my gosh I started laughing so hard and could not believe that was his answer. I didn't teach him that phrase, and how did he know to answer my question that way. All I know is that I wanted to write this down so I didn't forget. It truly is amazing what your kids observe you do even when you think they aren't looking or oh they wont get that!! Well news flash they DO. I have decided that our kids are a product of what we are. So I want to make sure that I can be the best example I possibly can be to my kids! They mean the world to me and they make me want to do such good things :)

"Brotherly Love"

So this picture melted my heart!! I love seeing my two boys together and knowing what best buddies they will be. Devin and Addison are so adorable together now, and I know they will be the same towards Dayton. I don't care if people think Chris and I are crazy for having 3 kids under 3 years old! I absolutely love it and quite frankly haven't found it to be that hard. Our kids have found a friend for life in eachother by being so close in age. This picture says it all and makes everything we have done worth it. Dev just recently wanted to start holding dayton. He just stares at him and says "Hi brother Dayton" He will pat him and say "shh shh shh" trying to keep him calm. Just goes to show how smart a 2 year old is. He only could have picked that up by simply watching how I am with Dayton. I love these two precious boys!!

"Loving Young Women's"

So I got a new calling just recently in church! I got called to be a miamaid advisor in young women's. I was really excited to take on this calling. I have a feeling these girls will teach me much more than I will teach them!! That is the great part about getting to work with the youth, they remind you of what it is like to be 14 and 15 again. It really is very eye opening to see what young teenagers face now days. It really scares me to think what things will be like in 12 years from now when my kids will be teenagers. I have my first lesson this sunday and can't wait to teach it!! Things like getting up in front of people doesn't make me nervous or bother me, I just get encouraged by the challenge! Well I will keep you updated on how my first lesson goes until then goodnight :)

Ok so I totally love how the pictures of all three kids turned out!! That is so weird to say THREE... I have to just say I love being a mom of three it has been such an easy transition. I'm grateful for my little munchkins. A shout out to Jamie Ault that did the pictures for me. She is a great friend and is very talented :) thanks Jamie. "I'm Back"

Well i have said this many times before, but I mean it this time I'M BACK!!! I want to blog on a daily basis even if it is about silly things! I have Dayton's newborn pics, our day up at the homestead, and chris and I's 6 year anniversary COMING SOON :) check it out!!

"Welcoming Baby Dayton"

Weighing 3lbs 5ozs and

17 1/2 inches long

Our newest and sweetest addition arrived Monday at 12:50 pm!! He is in the NICU now at IMC Hospital in Murray. Truly he came out screaming and so far is doing great. He does need assistance with his breathing, by using some pressurized oxygen. Other than that he is hardly hooked to anything and is doing great! I tell you what those small little IUGR babies do the best in the NICU. The nurses seem to tell us that every time. As for me and delivery it has gone really well so far. I do seem to have some extra pain this time along with my incision. I had a tubal ligation done at the time of my c-section, so i did two surgeries in one. I will be posting another post this evening of little Dayton to keep you updated.
