"Baby #2 Update"

ok well this is a good and bad update. Iwill give you the short version of the story. Im 18 weeks almost 19 now. So on Tuesday evening I noticed I had a little bit of swelling in my ankles, not alot but enough that I noticed. So I pressed on my ankle to see if there was any indenting, which usually means some water is there. Well sure enough there was and I ofcourse freaked out inside, mainly because the same thing was happening when I was pregnant with devin. So I called my doctor on Wednsday morning, and they immediately got on the situation. My doctor ordered a 24 hour urine sample that I had to do from home. So I started that Thursday morning (today) I take it back into my doctor friday morning, then have to do blood as well. The urine is to determine if there is alot of protein present. It is one of the main beginning signs of preeclampsia. Anyhow I should hopefully have the results by monday, possibly Friday late afternoon. I will keep you all updated to let you know where things are at and how they are going. Wish us luck, I really am not in the mood for another growth restricted baby in the NICU.

"The Football Team"

I just realized that I haven't posted are little family in our halloween costumes. Devin had to wear his cute little helmet anyways, so we decided to make him a football player. I was the cheerleader, and chris was the coach. If you cant tell by the photos he is a fan of BYU. Are fist halloween with devin finally here was so much fun, last year this time he was still in my belly :) we just went to the grandparents houses, and to some friends houses to see their cute baby. We then headed up to see the grandparents aunties and uncles, that was so much fun for everyone to see Devin on his 1st halloween. Enjoy all the pics below.............

"Devin's First Pumpkin Carving"

This was so much fun to do with our son this year. Ever since I have known chris, which is 9years now. His family has always done pumpkin carving every year, I have always loved this tradition. This year though was even more special, because it was with our little Devin. Chris and I decided to do it our house and have both of the grandparents over. They ofcourse were so excited to be there for Devin's first pumpkin carving. These pictures below were the start of the evening getting all the pumpkins ready...

So once we got done doing all 7 pumpkins 4 of them were Chris and I's. We made a little family of pumpkins this year, and added accessories to describe all of us. So this picture below in order is chris, me, devin, and the new baby girl :) I know I know kind of cheesy, but I have kind of become that way now that I am a mom. I feel like I have become a kid again myself, and I have to say I am loving it. Christmas will be the best this year I can't wait. Sorry I went away from the picture :) enjoy it below....

"Game Night"

Chris and I would do game nights here and there with scrabble before little devin got here. It wasn't often, but it was a little more in the winter time when there is nothing to do. So the night started out really good, and cute little devin was being sooo good as usual. Well that was true until he went into a tantrum out of nowhere yikes!! It was a good one he was just screaming and crying. I tried the binky, I tried pacing, I tried rocking. Nothing and I mean nothing was calming him down. Finally Chris and I layed him down on our bed and started reading him a book, we didn't know what else to do. Well if you can imagine something as simple as the book worked lol. I think it is so funny because really nothing else was working for my mad little baby. We read him the book "The five little pumpkins" he loved it. So it was a nice thought for chris and I to sit down for game night and popcorn with no interruptions ( yeah right ) :) Enjoy the pictures below of our fun evening!

100% Confirmation

Well you read it right, it's 100% for sure we are HAVING A GIRL!!!!! I just wanted to let everyone know I told you I would. :) Goodnight for now.

"Confirmation day"

Well here it is confirmation day for baby girl!! Well atleast that's what we hope she still is :) so we go tonight at 7:00, I will be posting tonight the for sure confirmed sex of the baby! I'm so excited to get the little girl confirmed so I can starting SHOPPING FOR PINK YAY. Anyhow get ready to hear, look later tonight around 10ish for the answer. Thanks all :)

Boy Or Girl?

So If you can't tell (IT'S A GIRL!!!)

The story is that Chris and I went to have an ultrasound done at 15 weeks.

I was super anxious this time, and to be honest was hoping for a girl.

When we got there they said we were a few days off, but that could still tell, and they

were sure that it was a girl. We just have to go back on the 27th of this month

to confirm. We are so excited, it is all feeling so real now.

11 Week Belly Pic

So it begins, here I am doing belly pictures of myself again ALREADY!!! Well now that I am over the shock that I'm going to have babies a year apart, I can relax and enjoy the pregnancy :) So here is what you have been waiting for, the first belly pic. I will be posting belly pics every 2 to 3 weeks depending on how fast it grows. Also please don't mind this shirt that makes me look like a bumble bee, I wasn't thinking when I had the picture taken. Well enjoy and until 13 or 14 weeks for the next belly pic :)

Already 6 Months

Wow I can not believe my little 3lb NICU baby is 6 months old now!! Devin is weighing in now at a whopping 17 1/2 lbs. He has had no problems in that area catching up, he is a little on the shorter side though. He just does the funnest things now at 6 months just to name a few:

-Smiles with the whole mouth open.

-Giggles

-puts everything and anything in his mouth

-He coos, and grunts, and screams. He has definately discovered his little voice.

I have posted some really cute pics of him at 6 months so far, which has been like a day. I took quite a few, what can I say I love my little dude. I just have to say how grateful I am to have Devin in my life. I have an amazing supportive husband, and our little family just makes me feel whole. I love you my little "Dooders" mommy and daddy are so proud to call you our son, you have been such a fighter from the beginning. WE LOVE YOU!!! Happy 6 months.

"Belly Pics Are Coming"

So because this time I am showing alot sooner I'm going to start my belly pics alot sooner :) last time I believe I started at like 16 or 17 weeks, well not this time around instead it's 11 yikes!
