"Confirmation day"

Well here it is confirmation day for baby girl!! Well atleast that's what we hope she still is :) so we go tonight at 7:00, I will be posting tonight the for sure confirmed sex of the baby! I'm so excited to get the little girl confirmed so I can starting SHOPPING FOR PINK YAY. Anyhow get ready to hear, look later tonight around 10ish for the answer. Thanks all :)

Boy Or Girl?

So If you can't tell (IT'S A GIRL!!!)

The story is that Chris and I went to have an ultrasound done at 15 weeks.

I was super anxious this time, and to be honest was hoping for a girl.

When we got there they said we were a few days off, but that could still tell, and they

were sure that it was a girl. We just have to go back on the 27th of this month

to confirm. We are so excited, it is all feeling so real now.

11 Week Belly Pic

So it begins, here I am doing belly pictures of myself again ALREADY!!! Well now that I am over the shock that I'm going to have babies a year apart, I can relax and enjoy the pregnancy :) So here is what you have been waiting for, the first belly pic. I will be posting belly pics every 2 to 3 weeks depending on how fast it grows. Also please don't mind this shirt that makes me look like a bumble bee, I wasn't thinking when I had the picture taken. Well enjoy and until 13 or 14 weeks for the next belly pic :)

Already 6 Months

Wow I can not believe my little 3lb NICU baby is 6 months old now!! Devin is weighing in now at a whopping 17 1/2 lbs. He has had no problems in that area catching up, he is a little on the shorter side though. He just does the funnest things now at 6 months just to name a few:

-Smiles with the whole mouth open.

-Giggles

-puts everything and anything in his mouth

-He coos, and grunts, and screams. He has definately discovered his little voice.

I have posted some really cute pics of him at 6 months so far, which has been like a day. I took quite a few, what can I say I love my little dude. I just have to say how grateful I am to have Devin in my life. I have an amazing supportive husband, and our little family just makes me feel whole. I love you my little "Dooders" mommy and daddy are so proud to call you our son, you have been such a fighter from the beginning. WE LOVE YOU!!! Happy 6 months.

"Belly Pics Are Coming"

So because this time I am showing alot sooner I'm going to start my belly pics alot sooner :) last time I believe I started at like 16 or 17 weeks, well not this time around instead it's 11 yikes! I just wanted to post this so you know in the next day or two to start watching for the belly pics. Talk to you all soon.

"Fruit Obsession"

Alright so I know my other posts have consisted of how sick I have been this pregnancy. Well don't worry my appetite is back, and it's an interesting one this time around. I don't crave chips, ice cream, big fat burritos, cookies etc...... nope big plates of fruit mostly, and sometimes veggies. This so far is a healthier pregnancy, as for food anyways. All I ever wanted with Devin was Ice cream from cold stone (sweet cream & strawberries) mmmmm. Don't get me wrong that still sounds good this time, but in most cases I would rather eat my plate of fruit :) I have so much more to add, I haven't been good at the blogging thing lately. It's alot to keep up when I have so much to write about Devin and this pregnancy. I get so busy I forget to write alot of it down. I promised myself I'm going to keep up and do better :) well until next time......

Bear Lake Trip

Well we made it to Bear Lake this year like usual for Labor Day. I have been in Chris's family 9 years now, and that has become a tradition. Devin had his first time in the pool, let's just say that he didn't love it. I figured the pool would be alot warmer than the lake I was wrong, I'm sure you can judge from this picture.

Or maybe it's that mommy thought it was cold lol. So then after we learned the pool wasn't very well liked, we decided to head to the lake for some sun bathing. This we learned Dev enjoyed :)

I thought this looked like a comfortable nap. So after we enjoyed our beach adventure we took Devin back to the condo for a bath in the sink :) pretty cute picture we got of him.

This trip was very relaxing and I'm so glad we got to take our little man this year. Well until the next adventure talk with you all soon.

Sicker Than A Dog

Okay wow I am so so sick this pregnancy! I am definately way more sick than I was with Devin. I'm just sitting here this morning trying to do some work from home, and trying to squint at my computer through my headache. This really is the worst I have felt in a really long time. It's also not helping that Devin is deciding to revert back to a newborn, he is waking up 2 times a night right now out of nowhere. It is killing me I feel like I am getting no sleep. For those of you out there that are on a second pregnancy, or have had one please some advice would be great..... I want to say that I think Dev is just going through a growth spurt, it makes sense anyways. I mean before for over 2 months he was sleeping through the night 9 hours no problem. I don't know I guess I have to just tough it out, the 1st trimester is the worst always. I feel so good the rest of the time, atleast I did with Devin so far this isn't like my pregnancy with devin though. Well more updates to come, thanks for listening all!

"Mama Had To Have It"

Okay okay so I know pregnancy gets used as an excuse sometimes for eating whatever we want, but I REALLY wanted Mcdonald's :) So today was the first day I have felt quite nauseated and nothing I mean nothing sounded good. Well don't worry at 10:00pm tonight it hit me a Big N Tasty meal from Mcdonald's mmmm I had to have it. Well the good news is that it was as good as I was expecting, and it stayed down too thank goodness. So I had to post about my first real have to have it craving with this pregnancy. Man Mcdonald's is good but it is way better pregnant and at 10:oo at night I can vouch. Well now that my belly is full baby is in bed it's time for mama to hit the sack goodnight all!

"Watching Daddy Work"

Well let's just say so far I have taught Devin 2 main things #1 mommy is the woman in his life :) #2 We watch daddy work okay j/k (kinda). Anyhow today Chris had an itch to get rid of what we call our dirt hill in the front yard. Truthfully it is going to be a job that will take days, but he wanted to make a dent in it tonight! It really was a pretty evening and so Devin, Duke, and I decided to take a blanket and hang out while daddy worked. I had chris take a picture of all three of us watching him work :) These are the best nights just hanging with my little family, I couldn't ask for more! It was the most perfect weather and Devin loves to be outside. He will really focus in on the trees, he seems to love them. I would have to say I have a pretty happy content baby, it takes alot to ever even remotely here a cry out of him. I just have to say I love my husband, our cute little house, and most of all our baby we created. We are so blessed and grateful for all that we have, I try to never forget how lucky we really are.
