"Devin's First Boating Trip"

Well I haven't posted much in a while, sorry for that!! It has been so crazy, I even forgot to post for the 4th of July oops! Well anyhow we decided to take Dev out on the boat for his first ride, he did great! Honestly I would say I have a super easy baby, hardly ever fusses or cries. I just got lucky I guess, so it really makes me enjoy all of his firsts with him :) I am just going to post some pic of dev in his fun life jacket, and his skipper hat hehe it is soooo cute!! His smile just lights up my day. Well anyhow sorry it has been a while enjoy the pics.....

"Random Thoughts"

So Here it is 1:00 in the morning. No Devin is not keeping me up, I just simply can not sleep. Well I just have some random thoughts going on and alot on my mind. First I'll blurt out what is in my head at the moment. I truly love the Lord I am thankful everyday for what he has given me. I know and have faith that he is the almighty. I had a Patriarchal Blessing last May and was just reading it. I realized something it said that keeps sticking out in my mind. It simply states how I will be the example and posterity to my unborn children. It also says how I will be an example to my husband. I do not feel that I am example material, but hey do any of us :) It is really amazing that the Lord thinks that much of me. I am just taken back how this time around he has the faith in me. He thinks that I am their example, and he knows that I will be their posterity through their lives. They are dependant on me and and will choose the way through my testimony. I being a convert have not always been this way. I have not always been able to know certain things to be true, and to feel the spirit around me all of the time. For those of you that have known me another way I want you all to know that I do believe in the gospel. It has done something to me that I cannot explain. All I know is that I do it for me and because I have faith in what I am doing. I also don't know much, but I do know that I have a responsibility given to me by Heavenly Father himself. I will do these things that I have been told and given because I have faith that if I do them I will see a result. Iknow that it takes alot more to have faith than to ignore it. Having faith means knowing something that you are certain of, but that you cannot see. That's what it's all about to me, I can't see Christ or Heavenly Father but I'm certian they are there (Certain of it) Thank you for reading my rambling I just had to let it out somewhere. I love that I can just write down my thoughts anytime, thanks for listening and goodnight :)

"From 3lbs to 12lbs"

So I just thought it would be fun to compare a couple of pictures here. I wanted to show how small Devin really was at birth compared to him now at 12lbs and 3months old. Wow where does the time go he is getting sooo big already, I wont complain though I just want him healthy. So this is Dev's most recent 3 month old pic and his first born NICU pic enjoy........

"Our Sunday At The Park"

Not to much to say, except that we couldn't resist the beautiful day it was Sunday. We decided to meet my parents and hang out. Devin loves just hanging in the shade and kicking around on his blanky :) he is a sily little guy. He smiles up a storm now and coos all over the place, I can't wait for the giggle to happen. "Look At These Mommy Skills"

I was trying to make dinner tonight, just when Devin decided he would be awnery :) he always decides that at the most inconvenient times lol! Anyhow I just wanted to post this pic because I thought it was funny. I didn't know what to do, so I strapped him in his little harness, made a bottle, then fed him with one hand and cooked with the other :) now that is mommy skills, c'mon you have to admit. Chris walked in the door as I was doing this so I asked him to take a picture.

"My Newest Project"

Okay all so I want everyone that checks this out to look at my newest project. I decided I needed to keep a journal of just my baby boy and his story. He had quite the story of how he got here, and his NICU stay etc.... So I will be documenting all of, the behind the scenes of the NICU that nobody got to see or knew.
